The girls basketball program will compete in the 2018 Cactus Jam in Tempe, Arizona beginning December 27th. The Panthers will play three games against three talented west coast teams during their week in the desert. Head coach Eric Rothgery credits assistant coach Joe Schill with helping to make this opportunity a reality for the girls. “Coach Schill has spent so much time and energy planning and raising money for this trip,” Rothgery said.
The Panthers will face Curtis High School, out of Seattle, in their first game on December 27th. Rothgery sees this as an opportunity for the girls to grow on the court and off of it. “We will play quality opponents and be able to spend plenty of off the court time with each other. It should be a great experience for our girls.”
